To Empower A Life
TEALtv exists to empower student voices through creative, student-produced media that informs, entertains, and inspires our school community. Rooted in the belief that storytelling builds confidence and connection, our program provides students with the tools and opportunities to create meaningful content; from live broadcasts and news segments to podcasts and short films. As TEAL stands for To Empower A Life, we are committed to helping every student develop real-world skills, express their unique perspective, and grow as creators, collaborators, and leaders in the world of media.
The Bark is Sheldon High School’s student-run news broadcast, delivering timely updates, school stories, and student perspectives. Created by TEALtv students, it highlights campus events, achievements, and issues that matter; giving students a voice while keeping the school community informed and connected.
The Sheldon Broadcasting Network (SBN) is the student-run hub for live broadcasts at Sheldon High School, bringing sports, events, and special programming to the school community. Powered by TEALtv students, SBN provides real-world broadcasting experience while delivering high-quality, engaging coverage that keeps viewers connected to everything happening on campus.
The Bark After Dark is a student-created podcast series under TEALtv that explores a variety of topics through different podcast styles; from interviews and storytelling to debates and casual conversations. Designed to be more relaxed and creative, it gives students the freedom to experiment with their voices, share perspectives, and produce engaging content that connects with their audience beyond the classroom.
This is your space to be heard. Whether you want to share your opinions, participate in surveys, or be featured in upcoming segments, this is where your voice helps shape what we create. TEALtv is built by students, for students and we want you to be part of it.
